Verdict
BARKING is the best option in this maiden with Diamond Charlie and Clever Man likely to give him most to think about. Richard Hannon's juveniles are carrying pretty much all before them at present. It is worth noting that his Windsor defeat followed a sizeable absence so in that light, there is a fair chance that he will have come on for it. Diamond Charlie sets the standard on BHA ratings. The colt seemed to appreciate racing closer to the pace last time and it is likely that similar tactics will be observed today. Clever Man is from a family of very decent six furlong performers and while the penny has not dropped just yet, he should be not be discounted just yet. Ivan Vasilevich is a half-brother to Al Qasi though he did not realise a great deal at the sales. Sodashy probably needs further already. Barking could be just the order in this contest.
