    Verdict

RARE TERN is the pick with Dungannon and Hierarch worthy of note amongst the others. Sir Mark Prescott's charge ran with a degree of credit on what was a very wet surface at Ffos Las on his latest start. The handicapper has taken a shot at him by allocating a rating of 66 and the market will tell us all that we need to know. Dungannon won a maiden on the flat at Bath over five furlongs. Out of a middle distance sired mare - there is some hope that he will get the trip. Hierarch is tried in a first time visor. The handicapper has now played his part by dropping him some way from the mark he had assessed him at previously. Orsett Lad is in receipt of a massive weight concession. Count Bertoni won in cheekpieces earlier in the season and on this occasion, blinkers now replace the visor that he wore on his latest racecourse appearance. White Dart did not seem to act around Windsor when backed into joint favouritism last time out. Rare Tern could well improve now sent handicapping and we take him to do so.
