Perhaps not as competitive as the size of the field would imply and Lara Falana is taken to defy top weight. The Brooke Sanders-trained mare has shown respectable form on the Polytrack this winter and was an impressive four-length winner on her return to turf over course and distance last week. The daughter of Tagula is racing off her highest ever mark but appears to be thriving at present and should be followed under a 6lb penalty. Junikay has been failing for stamina over further but is becoming well treated as a consequence and will appreciate the return to this trip. Ice Cracker is a lightly raced type who shapes as though this trip will suit and is not without claims if fit while Perfidious has proved a model of consistency on the all-weather of late but is on a long losing sequence and his overall form suggests he is not as effective on turf.
