Not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination and Broughton Zest is the choice to follow up last week's Musselburgh victory. The John Best-trained filly showed a tidy turn of foot to score with something in hand and should be able to defy a 6lb penalty. The four-year-old had previously looked unlucky when finding trouble in running over this trip at Doncaster, proving that she is equally effective at this distance and should be followed in her current form. Triplemoon is well treated compared to her Brighton success last August but lost her way towards the backend and may prove vulnerable on her seasonal reappearance. Starry Mary has proved disappointing over timber of late but is not without claims on the pick of last year's form while Capricious has shown little in maidens but returns on a very fair mark and shouldn't be dismissed out of hand.
