This could turn out to be the most competitive race on the card, and our marginal preference is for GAIA PRINCE to get the better of Yossi and Hada Men. Amanda Perrett's gelding remains nought from seven, but has been knocking on the door when tried over a mile and a quarter. Going over an extra couple of furlongs looks to be a positive move by the trainer; he's comparatively lightly raced, and the only interest on the card for her. Yossi returns to the flat after three goes over hurdles, the most recent of which he won; he's also been entered over the timber tomorrow by Jim Best, who rarely sends runners here. Luca Cumani's been banging out the winners recently and knows how to place his horses at this sort of level, and Hada Men, lightly raced, has his first outing since October, and first for the yard. It's a tricky handicap to work out, and may be as tight on track as in the ring, but we'll support Gaia Prince.
