The market can guide us here, with the 11 runners having had as many races between them including three debutants, but we'll take a punt with GUESSWORK, but also consider the claims of Exotic Beauty and Two Kisses. Willie Jarvis' filly is his only runner on the card; she's well drawn, and entitled to come on from a Newmarket debut over the minimum trip, when shaping as if she needed this extra furlong. She's by Rock of Gibraltar and is closely related to a number of successful sprinters, and any market support would inspire more confidence. Exotic Beauty has also had the benefit of a positive run, also over five furlongs. Mick Channon's charge cost connections 75,000 euros in the autumn and has some decent entries later in the year. She's poorly drawn though. Brendan Powell's string are in decent form, and if there's further improvement after a couple of runs from Two Kisses she should be involved at the end too. Of the trio of newcomers, Exceed Power could be destined for greater things with entries at Doncaster and Ascot. Last year this contest was won at a big price by Haven't A Clue, and we're taking a chance here, with Guesswork.
