Verdict

Nutkin is sure to be popular following her reappearance at Nottingham but Phillip Robinson has opted to make the journey to Folkestone for just the one ride and we'll be hoping that Paradise Dancer justifies that decision. The selection has been partnered by George Baker in recent starts but he elects to ride Kavachi for a yard that provides him with plenty of winners and the course and distance winner couldn't be confidently dismissed. Paradise Dancer has yet to win on turf but has made the frame on three of her four starts and has progressed well through the winter. She should have enough tactical pace if this small field race turns into a battle of wits and she has the master tactician on board. Nutkin returned a beaten favourite last time but she's entitled to come on for the run and is still unexposed. She's done most of her racing with cut in the ground but her breeding suggests that she should handle a quicker surface. She's an obvious chance but we like the look of Paradise Dancer.
