With a slight note of caution given that he flopped on his only previous try on officially heavy ground, we will suggest HARLECH CASTLE to complete a four-timer here, while Daddy's Gift looks a threat and Signore Momento is another short-listed. The last named is by Captain Rio and has already got proven form on soft and heavy ground when racing in Ireland. Formerly trained by David Myerscough, he is now handled by Amy Weaver and with her best mate Hayley Turner on board this four-year-old is considered a major player back over this trip. Daddy's Gift is another from a yard going well and was a winner on the Polytrack when last seen at Kempton in December. She has won here over course and distance on soft ground, so she should be very competitive from a mark that is attractive enough. Kerrys Requiem would be a danger if able to go on the ground, but his CV suggests that that is unlikely, and we will side with Harlech Castle. Jim Boyle's gelding acts on the slow Fibresand surface and on good to soft on turf, though admittedly he still has it to prove on going as heavy as today's. Even so, he gets on well with his pilot and is in cracking form, while today's mark is below that of his latest Southwell win so he could still be well handicapped and he is taken to score.
