In depth

Verdict

The veteran GOODNIGHT CHARLIE scored on his only visit here on New Year's Day, with Sackett 12 lengths behind, and is only 1lb higher while Ajay's Ways landed a novices' handicap here in January though that was over 2m5f. Exod'ela has never won over fences though has been racing in better company while Richard Newland's acquisition from Ireland, Wake Up Early, could find the ground a bit lively. Vinnie's Getaway was having only his third start over fences when runner-up here last month though that was over 2m5f.
