REWIRED, a dual winner on the Flat, will be having his first start against older horses over timber. He was fortunate to finish runner-up at Doncaster last time but that looked a stronger race than this and his allowance can see him go one better. Winning point-to-pointer Askinvillar ran a fine race on his first start for Mark Gillard here last month and takes a slight drop in class while Listowel bumper winner Boreen Boy has had a wind operation since tailed off on his hurdling bow at Fontwell. Dom Perry won a bumper here just over a year ago and was up with the pace for a long way before weakening when tackling 2m3f at Catterick in January. Watashock didn't take to heavy ground in a Huntingdon bumper after a close third at Newcastle. Coastguard Station, a dual point-to-point winner in Ireland, was beaten a long way in a Hereford handicap last month.
