TREATY FLYER has sound claims in this company and is preferred to Harlequinn Danseur and Le Brocquy. Alison Thorpe landed a double at Ludlow on the first day of the new season and this gelding formed the first leg of it when running out a well backed winner. That appeared to be a contest of similar depth and he's fancied to follow up. Harlequinn Danseur ran well when tried in a tongue tie and cheekpieces at Hereford where a change of tactics was also employed. He could get into the shake-up if he can build on that performance. Le Brocquy also found only one too good last time over a slightly longer trip after which he was claimed; he has sound claims of earning an immediate dividend for his new connections. The same yard also have chances with Coconut Beach whilst North Walk also merits a place on the short-list but Treaty Flyer is the one that we're with.
