In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins has won the last three of these and Royal Caviar looks the best of his pair this time with Ruby Walsh electing to ride over Babbling Stream. However, he's twice been beaten in Listed company and may find a couple of these too good. SUTTON PLACE had him over 6l behind at Naas and, as that was only the third start of his career, Gordon Elliott's charge looks the one to be on and Barry Geraghty has picked him rather than the UK raider Drumcliff, who makes his debut over timber after two bumpers runs. Attribution was a long way behind in that event at Naas though that wasn't his form as he'd earlier chased home the very useful Min at Punchestown. Moon Over Germany beat Ball D'Arc easily enough at Navan but the runner-up improved past him at Naas last month though it was still a very smart effort against a useful opponent.
