Willie Mullins has won the last two of these and will be hoping for a hat-trick via Sempre Medici or Max Dynamite. The former made a successful start for the yard at Cork in November and has run well in better company since, including in the County Hurdle behind stablemate Wicklow Brave. The latter has an almost identical profile and finished just in front of his rival at Cheltenham, though he was receiving 7lb. After beating Silver Concorde in a maiden, Blair Perrone competed at a high level before landing a novices' event at Gowran last month and should go well but the vote goes to PHIL'S MAGIC, who though six lengths behind Max Dynamite at Thurles in November has improved markedly since. Rock The World has been given a break since a poor run at Leopardstown in January and his earlier form puts him in the picture.
