Verdict

MISTER GREZ is probably the one to beat in this, despite his double penalty. Sean Bowen's claim is a major plus and his mount, who has run well over fences, won't be taking any prisoners again. Santa's Secret is proving a little frustrating but should make the frame again while King Alfonso will appreciate the return to novice company having come up short in a Haydock handicap last time. Globalisation was well out his depth in a Grade 2 over 3m last time but has more scope than Masterplan and Irish import Run Hurricane and will no doubt be winning soon.
