The beginners chase at Galway last week won by Jessies Dream was one of the best of its kind so far this season and though VENALMAR never looked like winning he did enough to suggest his turn is near. Mouse Morris' charge, a Grade 2 winner over timber and runner-up in the Ballymore Properties at Cheltenham, has yet to convince over fences but has enough experience to take this and go on to better things. Morris also runs the smart winning hurdler The Hurl, who along with bumper and hurdles winner Quadrillon makes his debut over the bigger obstacles and the pair look potentially useful chasers. Fort George is probably unlucky not to have scored over fences though two falls in five starts is a little off-putting but Bit Of A Devil made a very nice chasing debut over a trip too short at Tipperary last month and will have come on for the experience.
