Verdict
Bosamcliff had little excuse when disappointing favourite backers at Worcester and requires a bit of cut to show his best, so we'll take him on with MAURITINO. Jonjo O'Neill's charge sauntered to victory at Hereford on his second handicap try, leaving behind previous form in the process. That day, unlike those previously, he settled well and eased into contention, suggesting that a similar display would see him hard to beat despite a 9lb rise. Tony Carroll won this last year so Crazy Bold needs respecting, but he needs a career-best to win this and has a slightly in-and-out profile; he'll need to be on a going day to feature. Goat Castle was ultimately well-held last time but may prefer this ground while the unexposed Lucy's Perfect and Park Lane need close inspection in the market.
