In depth

Verdict

Quite a competitive if uninspiring chase, which can go the way of Manodee, who seemed to find some improvement when winning a small race at Huntingdon. That was his first outing for Venetia Williams and off a 6lb higher mark, he should be capable of following up. The lightly raced Never Wonder goes well fresh and is capable of a bold bid, despite carrying top weight, while others to consider include Existential, who doesn't look badly treated despite having had only one outing over fences, Millersford, who has won off a 3lb higher mark and Brendan Powell's Watership Down.
