Doctor Green (FR) Suited by a return to hurdles this term and can race off a 3lb lower mark than when successful here last April. Should handle the conditions, but any rain would be a big plus to his chances and hails from a stable that warrants obvious respect. He is probably the one to beat.
Ellamine Running well in this grade at present but has not been the most the most consistent of performers in the past, others look to have stronger claims.
Arctic Burner (IRE) Yet to find his feet for his new stable and has not shone in his three outings since landing a Novices' Handicap hurdle for Paul Nicholls at Stratford back in July. He could be given a chance if returning to anything like that form but he may be best watched for now.
Salvo Not seen on the track since September 1999 and is best left alone for the time being after such a long lay-off.
Mazeed (IRE) A little to prove after a couple of lack-lustre outings in Conditional Jockeys Handicaps. However he does win in his turn and cannot be ruled out on the best of his form.
Zabionic (IRE) Still a maiden and is not hard to leave out of the equation here.
No Moore Bills Another yet to get off the mark under rules and looks to have a bit to find with a few of these on the balance of form.
Mill Orchid Hard to see her adding to her Market Rasen selling grade win of 1999 and is another who may be best left alone in the betting exchanges.
Trinity Buoy (IRE) Still a maiden but he has displayed he has the ability to win a race of this nature since being dropped into selling company for the first time back in August. One to consider if the market speaks in his favour.
Bekstar Another who is yet to enter the winner's enclosure and despite running well here last week, is passed over in what looks to be a slightly tougher contest.
Ballykissann Hard to make a solid case for and is best left alone.
Only You Another who looks destined to find things a little tough.
Eric's Bett He hasn't won a race since 1997 and he probably won't win here either.
Sea Haitch Em Improved effort last time at Sedgefield but his overall profile leaves him with a lot to prove.
