If able to translate his best chase form back over hurdles the 11-year-old Gigi Beach could be an interesting contender in the Exeter opener, especially having been given a three month break. Easier to judge is his former inmate at Paul Nicholls' stable Just Caramel, who lost little in defeat behind the useful Dantie Boy here last time, while the Martin Pipe-trained Peter's Two Fun obviously has to be respected.
