Cheltenham's hunter chase card has been well-supported by owners and trainers with 105 runners declared for the six races including 20 in the opening maiden race. Included among them are the nine-year-old Friar Waddon, who finished a close-up third in similar company at Exeter last time. He should be thereabouts again as should Primaticcio who may have beaten the more experienced Sursum Corda at Ascot but for a bad mistake at the last which seemed to knock the stuffing out of him. Shobrooke Mill has the assistance of the useful Alex Charles-Jones and is another to consider, along with point-to-point winner Swincombe.
