Verdict

CRESSWELL WILLOW is the pick with Burnswood and Quel Bruere as the alternatives. The selection is much higher rated over chase fences so there is the obvious question as to how well in he is at this discipline. It does not always follow that this is the case but with the others on view having clear issues about the idea of winning, we will offer him the recommendation this afternoon. Burnswood did not show improved form for the application of cheekpieces. This will be the fastest ground he has faced. Quel Bruere has been selected by Tony McCoy over his regular partner. His British runs have provided little to write home about. Dunkelly Castle appears likely to set the pace. Ecureuille Rouge has made a nuisance of herself in points and makes no appeal under rules. Creswell Willow is the selection in a race that will not be requiring a lot of winning.
