Evasive Power, a course and distance winner on soft ground last month, was engaged in the 5.05 at Chepstow yesterday. Kimifive hasn't won since May 2019 but takes a big drop in class after finishing last behind Aratus at Goodwood on Saturday. Recon Mission won over 5f here in April and is back on the same mark. The longer trip won't be a problem nor will it be for Delagate This lord, who will love the fast conditions. SPRING BLOOM has only won once in 14 starts but is rarely beaten far and still reasonably treated so looks the one to beat after three very good recent runs at this level.
