    Verdict

    After an eye-catching debut at Musselburgh when denied a clear run, Herbertandflorence took on much better company at York and could never get involved. New Mission has been a short-priced favourite for both starts, on heavy ground and Polytrack, and though not going close didn't get the run of the race at Chelmsford last time. TIEMPO STAR couldn't get close to the first two at Newmarket but was well clear of the third and that could be good enough.
