Verdict
Prompter's best effort of the year came over course and distance and Michael Bell's gelding will act on the ground but he's got something to prove having disappointed since. Layali Al Andalus is rated the equal of stablemate Prince Siegfried but he dropped out tamely on his sole start this year at Hamilton and also has questions to answer on his first start in over three months, so we'd expect Ted Durcan's mount to do better. He's at his best when there is ease in the ground and comes into this on a fine Sandown second two starts ago, but we're going to side with the lowest rated horse lining up in JET AWAY. Henry Cecil's charge looked smart when landing a Lingfield maiden and confirmed that promise with a game handicap success off 86 at Sandown. It's interesting that connections are pitching him into this company and we'll take the hint, with this strapping son of Cape Cross likely to improve for a slightly easier surface. Confront is from the same ownership and completes the line-up but he can't be sided with on recent efforts, despite the fact he does act on the ground and appeals as an autumn horse.
