Verdict
La Fortunata ran a superb race from out of the weights at York and must go well while Titus Andronicus also arrives in rude health and can be hard to peg back when on song, but we'll side with OLDJOESAID. Kevin Ryan hasn't had this horse long and, after several below-par efforts on ground quicker than ideal, he reaches for the blinkers in the hope they'll galvanise this formerly classy type. If they do he's thrown in off 83, with his last win coming off 102, and we'll take a chance while the ground is in his favour. Bertoliver won the dash here in June and should confirm form with City Dancer, Strike Up The Band and Fathom Five but he's likely to face competition for the lead. Cape Royal is one such pace rival and this dual course and distance winner has it all to do from out of the weights with his stable companion Solemn of more interest as he too goes on the surface but appears more versatile tactically.
