      Verdict

MICKY P landed a real touch at Leicester 61 days ago and a 9lb rise may underestimate his authority. The Stuart Williams-trained colt had no trouble in beating an ordinary field and he's been found a nice race for his return, while as an unexposed son of Dr Fong, whose progeny tend to relish soft ground, conditions look to be in his favour. As the only other winners in the race both Annia Galeria and Admirable Duchess are respected, especially the former as she's got placed form on ground with cut, but both have shown their best over five furlongs. Excellent Thought will be fine under conditions but this hard puller may be best served by a stiff five, so of more interest is Mrs Mogg, generously dropped in the ratings following a fair second to an improving type at Ripon. Gessabelle is moderate and racing from out of the weights, so this looks a fine opportunity for Micky P.
