Golden Shaheen seems dependant on cut in the ground and won't be inconvenienced by stepping back up to seven, but an 8lb rise for winning what looked an ordinary race is enough for us to give the vote to another. That horse is AYE AYE DIGBY, whose close fourth off 2lbs higher here in July reads well. He's not been with new connections long, enjoys rain-softened ground and stays an easy seven. There appeared no fluke about Hot Spark's victory last time and he's a threat up 6lbs, especially as his best form has come with a little ease in the ground, while Woodcote Place was in front soon after the line when second here recently and a 2lb rise is fair. Guilded Warrior's handicap form stacks up and this soft ground winner should also go well but Aye Aye Digby rates our each-way pick.
