Verdict

Mick Channon's Ihavenotime ran much better on a soft surface in a Leicester maiden last month and should not be inconvenienced by the faster ground today but a better bet looks to be ENABLING. Richard Hannon's colt has stepped up from his debut effort in two subsequent starts with placed efforts at Leicester and Brighton, form that makes him the clear choice over his rivals and he can open his account. Mark Johnston's juvenile's normally improve for their first start but Alajmal needs to, while John Dunlop's Anton Dolin has given little cause for optimism so far. Roger Charlton's Embezzle was well held on his first outing but that was on soft ground and he is likely to do better on the faster going today.
