We've been waiting for a long time to see SPACIOUS again but we think it will be worth the delay as she's preferred in this top contest to Eva's Request and Red Dune. We last saw the pick struggling a bit for stamina over a 10 furlong trip in a Listed race at Newmarket in October. That run was the closing gambit of an impressive season in which this filly was second in the 1000 Guineas and that is the stand out form in this contest. Fitness is unlikely to be an issue with conditions and trip suiting this filly. Eva's Request has already had three runs this term and a couple of solid efforts culminated in a superb display last time out when she landed a Listed event at Goodwood in similar conditions. Her overall form is not quite up to the standard of the pick's but she is race sharp and going well. Red Dune is another reappearing after a break with her last run an encouraging effort in a Listed race in October. That was after a decent effort in Group company and though she is entitled to go well she looks to have a bit to find on the selection. Alnadana makes a raid from France after placing in a Group Three at Longchamp at the end of last season so needs to be respected but it is the form of Spacious that seems to set the standard.
