This wide open sprint handicap could go to a number of these but we show marginal preference for EVERYMANFORHIMSELF ahead of stablemate Wi Dud and Hogmaneigh. The pick has an impressive record over this minimum trip scoring three times from eight starts. Most of those successes have come in slightly weaker races but Kevin Ryan's charge has been running himself in to some form at this standard recently and looks the percentage call off a fair mark. Wi Dud placed in a Group Three sprint at Haydock a fortnight ago one of a number of good results in top sprints over his career. Both career victories have come over this trip and he should be in the mix once more. Hogmaneigh seems to have a job on his hands conceding weight all around but having won this race in 2007 and followed up last year with a good run he needs to be entered into calculations especially with jockey William Carson claiming five pounds. Wotashirtfull has been on some form of late and could mount a challenge off a light weight while Captain Dunne is also weighted to get involved after a good run last time out. This is a bit of a pin stickers race but the recent runs of Everymanforhimself get him the selection.
