Swift Tango has been a consistent performer this term but a 6lb rise for his win at Newbury last month leaves Ed Dunlop's colt with more to do and a chance is taken on the reappearing Starry Lodge, who is preferred to Putra Sandhurst. The last mentioned made a winning return at Ripon but disappointed at Newmarket subsequently and may be best watched today. Richard Hannon's Tizzy May seems a shade high in the weights at present and a bigger threat may come from the Barry Hills-trained Trust Rule, who is better than the bare form of his run behind Dissident at Newmarket. The winner there faces no easy task from out of the handicap today and the vote goes to Starry Lodge. Luca Cumani has his string in fine form at present so lack of a recent run need not be a problem for a horse who was progressive last term. Potentially still well treated, Starry Lodge is taken to make a winning return.
