The vote here goes to Galeota ahead of Gifted Gamble and, possibly, Desert Imp. Galeota's third to the progressive Indesatchel in the Greenham Stakes at Newbury last time, marks him down as the one to beat here, although conceding weight to his rivals will not be easy. However, to be fair, the likes of Gifted Gamble, Goodricke, Joseph Henry, Desert Imp, who is on the upgrade, and Subyan Dreams, all have scope for further improvement, but need to find it on these term to score. The best of of them might prove to be Gifted Gamble, who had Goodricke and Joseph Henry behind him at York last time. Of the remainder, the jury is currently out on Aidan O'Brien's Dark Cheetah following a couple of disappointing efforts, while Excusez Moi was behind Galeota at Newbury.
