Verdict

This maiden looks ripe for WHODATHOUGHT to pick so although his odds are likely to be short he has to get the call ahead of value alternative Presto Volente and newcomer Highlife Dancer. Having improved from a debut run to find just the one narrowly too good last time the pick seems to be heading in the right direction. It could be argued this is easier so a similar run should be good enough. Presto Volente also mildly progressed from his first run to perform better than the bare result suggested last time when behind a potentially smart sort from Godolphin. He will probably need to improve again but looks one of the more likely. Highlife Dancer has a mixed pedigree of speed and stamina and is bred well enough to make an impact on debut while Rowan Ridge wouldn't have to be a world beater to get involved first time up. Whodathought looks very progressive and should be winning here.
