Sharjah has been attempting to equal the record for the number of winners on the track since July and came closest to his 10th victory when runner-up to Miss Louise last week. The winner looked to have something in hand and, though 7lb higher, should confirm the form. Ragtime Red ran at the same fixture when narrowly beaten into third behind Ciao so he should go well from the same mark. Jim Bolger has some good chances earlier on the card and New Vocation can also go well for the yard having won here last month before failing to overcome a 6lb rise a fortnight ago. The stable also run Latchet, who faces this trip for the first time but has been staying on over shorter. LIZARD POINT made almost every yard a fortnight ago and appeared to have a bit in hand over runner-up Invincible Queen so should confirm the form and continue his good run.
