Verdict

Annabelle Rock won over 5f here in December and landed a 7f claimer two weeks ago, when Associate Rock was behind, so this trip should be perfect. She's My Dream wasn't beaten far in two decent nurseries here in November and was always in the leading bunch on her reappearance last month until fading close home. Secret Vote, who started favourite on her debut for Richard Hannon at Doncaster last summer, has joined Gavin Cromwell and has run better than her form figures suggest in her two starts on this track though BURNING LAKE looks the one to beat. A winner at Newcastle for Charles Hills, he finished first past the post over 7f here earlier this month but was demoted to second after edging right close home. He's been raised 2lb but compensation awaits.
