Invasion Day made a promising debut here last May before landing a Cork maiden. He raced in much better company subsequently and is greatly respected. Syrena is the other non-track winner in the line-up but she had some fair form in her first campaign, including in a maiden here, though both are taking on race-fit and in-form rivals. The latter's yard is also represented by Jupiter Road, who was always travelling nicely when scoring over 7f here last month though had to battle at the finish. Major Reward overcame inexperience to land a 7f maiden here in October when well supported while Sky Seven, after winning a 7f maiden in December, couldn't quite match strides with Numerian in a better race last month. After landing a track and trip maiden, Lafayette Hill had her limitations exposed in a handicap so, in a tricky contest, THRIFTY ONE is handed the vote as he beat more experienced rivals to land a course and distance maiden a fortnight ago where he battled back after being headed.
