There's a very strong UK challenge here and Caspian Prince is in such brilliant form that he certainly deserves another crack at this level, especially as he has a course and distance victory to his credit. Roger Varian has booked Pat Smullen for DOUBLE UP, who was behind Caspian Prince at Beverley last month but was having only his fourth start of the campaign. He should be at his peak for this so can take his revenge and land this. Fellow raider Goldream has been disappointing this season after his Group 1 victory a year ago though this represents a big drop in class but Seychelles is stepping up markedly in grade after her victory at Kempton though her trainer doesn't tilt at windmills. Ardhoomey heads the home challenge after his superb victory in a Group 2 at the Curragh and wasn't at his best on soft ground behind The Happy Prince at Navan earlier. Moviesta beat the latter over 6f here in August when conceding 5lb so is another to consider in an intriguing contest.
