A very tricky opener but the filly Clef has yet to run a bad race - having won over 5f, 6f and 7f – and should be a factor if staying the extra distance. Mutawatheb was a close third over 7f here last month and is only a pound higher while stable companion Soldier's Girl is another with every chance. Under Control bids for a hat-trick after wins at Musselburgh and Chelmsford while it would be no surprise to see Aardwolf get involved now he's starting to come down the weights. ZYMYRAN (NAP) got off the mark at Yarmouth last month and was even more impressive on his next start at Newcastle. He's improving at a rate of knots and can defy another 10lb hike in the weights.
