To Choose came here a week ago and gained his first success on the surface with a comfortable victory in a lesser grade handicap. He has a 5lb rise to contend with which may just be a step too far. JAN VAN EYCK stays further than this so will need a strong gallop but looks likely to get one and though 11lb higher than his last success he's running well enough to get back to winning ways. Political Policy has had 50 starts but only two at this trip, one of them a victory here in January from tonight's mark. The three-year-old Reddot Roman stepped up to the trip for the first time here a couple of weeks ago and ran well behind the in-form Rahyah while Paddy The Celeb is always capable of popping up in similar company as he did over two miles at Tramore in August.
