This is a moderate handicap in which last month's Gowran winner Wagadoogoochoochoo bids to gain her first success on the surface after three poor runs. She certainly showed some improvement last time and must be considered but it's HAWKSWOOD, the only course and distance winner in the line-up and slowly making his way back after a long absence, who will take all the beating under regular partner Pat Smullen. Fellisha is generally consistent around here and rarely beaten far but she's now had 15 races without winning and gets no respite from the assessor. Idlewild hasn't had much experience and has never run here but he went to Sligo with a favourite's chance last time after a good run at Galway though was always struggling and finished tailed off.
