Verdict

Spruce Meadows is a tough and consistent performer and Danny Sheehy's claim can enable him to get into contention though the concession of 12lb to RINGSIDE HUMOUR may prove beyond him. Jim Bolger's mare has won from a much higher mark on the track and will have found the Irish Lincolnshire too short last month. Lucent Dream produced a surprise to score here last month, with Commander Won in third, but was earlier well behind Financial Conduct and the winner, who only just failed to defy an 8lb rise last time, looks a major threat. Ancient Sands and Pyromaniac have been in action over jumps though without much success.
