    In depth

    Verdict

A nice prize has attracted a decent field headed by ANDESH, whose one length defeat on his debut at the Curragh by Mendelssohn now looks very smart form. Michael Halford's colt gained a convincing victory over the track and trip in October and can enhance his prospects here. War Hero has been in fine form all winter and is the only one of these with a recent run under his belt so he has to be considered along with Masucci, who was highly tried after winning at Gowran though makes his all-weather debut as does Powersville, whose two Turf victories were gained on soft going. Both Militry Decoration and Check Your Pockets won their latest starts on the track and Paint won a Bath nursery for Richard Hannon.
