In depth

Verdict

Silk Cravat scored with a bit in hand a fortnight ago though a 6lb rise may just be enough to prevent a follow-up. Togoville gained his tenth all-weather victory here last month and has been left on the same mark but AMBASSADORIAL still has the scope to be better than a handicapper. Michael Halford's made a successful racecourse debut here in September 2016 then followed up in a Listed contest on the track a month later. He was beaten in another Listed event here a year ago but a chance is taken on his fitness. Mr Ormsby beat Arbourfield comfortably enough last month but couldn't handle an 8lb rise on a return visit a month later. Cascavelle went up a massive 13lb for winning here in November but couldn't replicate that form a month later.
