Joseph O'Brien's booking for Sparring Partner is interesting as he was on board when TRIBES AND BANNER beat him easily enough here in September. His mount isn't much better off here and the winner, who should get a good ride from Conor Hoban, has continued to run well and looks the one to be on. Darraghs Day also beat Sparring Partner here in April and has only run twice subsequently but a 9lb rise makes things much more difficult. It's difficult to know what to make of Mutasareb as he had shown nothing before gaining a shock victory over a slightly longer trip here last month.
