In depth

Verdict

Ger Lyons certainly complicates matters by saddling a trio who are all likely to be fancied. Tarrsille doesn't win very often and probably prefers further while Joe Eile raced over 1m3f last time and may also find this on the short side. Megan Carberry was on board when Solent Ridge finished strongly behind Gordon Lord Byron over 6f a fortnight ago and her mount could prove the yard's best hope though TELL THE WIND, who returned to her best when a fast-finishing runner-up on that occasion, can confirm the form and take this. Jim Bolger tries Whipless in blinkers for the first time while it would be no great shock if the likes of Iron Major and Toufan Express bounced back in this very tough handicap.
