PERSIAN WIND, runner-up over the track and trip in August, has subsequently won over fences and can race from a 15lb lower mark back over timber so looks the one to be on. He was behind Tranquil Magic over fences on this track earlier but was conceding 10lb and should gain revenge. The four-year-old Charms Bracelet is up 6lb for last month's course and distance victory and would prefer more testing conditions but Oskar High made a bold bid to follow up his Killarney victory when almost making all at Galway and looks a real threat. Alterno won very easily here in August and was probably undone by heavy going at Gowran so could play a part providing there's no more rain.
