Bold Fencer produced his best run over fences when just touched off by Golden Kite at Tramore last month and a repeat would probably be good enough here though he's still a maiden after 22 career starts which tempers enthusiasm. HATTON'S WOOD is a real fast-ground performer who landed a handicap at Tramore in October before defying a long absence and a 6lbs rise to gain an even more convincing success there last month. He's up another 11lbs but he won very easily and can defy the extra burden. Mcswynes Bay has only had three starts over fences but ran a fine race over today's C&D back in June and has scored over timber here subsequently. Jamadiel is 9lbs higher than when landing this a year ago and may struggle to complete the double.
