Patrickswell has been well beaten twice since scoring over this trip at Navan but he was tackling longer trips on each occasion and should do better. He had Lily Be in fourth and Fairy Flow fifth when successful but both are in decent form at present and better off at the weights. Johnstown Lad is still looking a few pounds high in the weights but QADAR has dropped to a fair mark and gets the vote. David Marnane's experienced gelding has never won on turf in a career that has produced six victories from 71 starts but his two latest efforts on fast ground at the Curragh and Navan suggest his long wait may be over.
