Luscivious and Sandwith look capable of making the frame however in a race where the market may point to further clues, it is BILLY RED who is put forward to score. The selection has been a runner-up at the last two attempts and has progressed for each race so should be able to go one better here today. He remains 5lbs higher than when last winning back in January but has been running well of late and should be able to win off this mark. The drop back to five furlongs and the switch to a slower surface suited Luscivious last time and the gelding looks to have recaptured some form. He is 6lb lower than his last turf winning mark, so could pop up here but it is a worry that his poor runs have out numbered his good ones in recent times. Sandwith looks another to keep on the right side of. The gelding was a runner-up at Hamilton most recently and looks capable of making the frame here, although his inconsistent form is a bit of a worry. Refer to the market for clues to the remainder who have little in the way of good recent form on offer, so for us Billy Red gets the nod and may not come across an easier task.
