Kempton maiden winner Rose Street has to be respected on his debut in a handicap but is hard to evaluate on the evidence of that one outing and a safer bet looks to be Zero Cool, with Heavenward rated the pick of the remainder. The selection probably found the ground softer than ideal when narrowly beaten on his nursery debut at Windsor last time and John Gosden's colt looks well worth another chance today. Eric Alston's Ella Woodcock has been in fine form of late but has yet to prove that he stays this far, while Ascalon probably needs some help from the handicapper. Jeremy Noseda's Milne Garden probably did not beat a great deal when successful on his debut at Beverley and of more interest may be Sir Michael Stoute's Heavenward who has improved with each start. Zero Cool is less exposed than most of these though and he looks worth a bet to resume winning ways.
